Saturday, July 26, 2008 @ 9:48 PM my conversation with clem. *during ct period, the principal was saying that our school is not like some top schools with strong alumni foundation when the alumnis can just throw 20 thousand at the school at one go to improve the facilities in the school. me: eh my bro school got ong theng chong. clem: next time our school got clement chua. me: ya right like real. clem: i'll throw 20 thousand dollars at you. me: come and throw. i never got wack by so much money before. clem: ok i'll throw monopoly money. he is so la-me! our school was having this donation drive when everyone which is part of the school have to run 10K to raise fund for the SDSC to send out athletes to beijing for the paralympics. our principle was so funny, he told us that if we don't initiate the 10K run, we will think that the longest distance that we run is 2.4. haha. actually it's quite true. anyway the main point here is i will be running 10K. this is something which i never tried before in my entire life. jia you for me. reminder: 3 weeks to prelims. Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.-JFK |
