Happy National Day Wednesday, August 10, 2011 @ 4:20 PMHappy Neh-tional Day people!!! I had a lot of fun over the weekend and I’m dragging my feet to work now as I had an overdose of fun and don’t feel like going to work =( Last Friday was Thanksgiving. It was awesome seriously!!! The performance by the teachers was awesome, the teachers were awesome and the principals were awesome too!!! But I still prefer the 1st thanksgiving (our J1 times). The 1st one is always the best and you really cannot compare with the rest =) There are many changes to the school, new teachers, new principal and new students as well (like duh). But the environment will never change after so many years (not many actually, it's 3. I'm not that old ok) =) The theme was "so you think you can dance". It’s super cool. The PE department reused the idea of the lion dance from last year =(, the science department did a kpop dance, the English department did the shuffling dance =), the humanities department did the umbrella dance =) and blah blah blah. And my YVONNE is back!!! She is super secretive!!! Came back for about a week and didn’t tell us!!! I was screaming my lungs off when I saw her, was so paiseh when everybody stared at us. LOL. The best thing is, I actually wanted to go off after the concert, then Audrey called me and told me to go back, if not I’ll be kept in the dark for 1 more day. Haha. After the concert, we hang around and took some photos before going for supper with Clement.                     
Met my girls on Saturday at Nex. I’m supposed to give Eve and Ethel a surprise and in the end I was late =( I was too excited about the night before that I couldn’t sleep the whole night. Haha. Ok. I told them that we’re supposed to meet Yvonne’s mom to collect our present. So after I met them, I pretended that I received a call from Yvonne’s mom and we went down to Ding Tai Feng. Haha. I was told that my acting skill was good. Haha. I think I got the flair to act too. I shall consider joining Mediacorp after I graduate. Haha. Did some catching up and left for home. Met my JC clique for pool at AMK in the night. I got laughed at by the twins =( I was telling the twins that my office sells breakfast every morning and that packet of fried bee hoon is super cheap!! It’s like only 80cents per packet. HQ asked if there is any side dish (the liao4) and I said no. Then she laughed at me and said that it’s the normal price for a packet of fried bee hoon!!! HJ then added that they can’t blame me because I’m a princess and princess doesn’t buy breakfast, so I wouldn’t know the normal price for a packet of fried bee hoon. Eh I don’t normally eat breakfast ma, how I know how much does a packet of fried bee hoon cost right??? LOL. Told them about my eye candy in the office too =) haha. I just love to hang out with them =) Fast forward to Tuesday (national day itself). Met eve and Ethel to watch the fireworks at marina square. We got miscommunication la!!! Ethel said meet at city hall while Eve said meet at marina square. So I took the circle line to marina square and intended to meet them there as we’ll be going to marina square eventually. When I reached there, Ethel called me to go to marina square’s Espirit to find eve. In the end, she wasn’t there. She was at raffles city’s Espirit. So, Ethel said that she’ll meet me at the link way. In the end, I went to the underpass link way while Ethel is waiting for me at the marina square to Citylink mall link way!!! Haha. Sian diao can. After much hardship, we finally reunite. Ate Mr Curry before going to watch fireworks. This year’s firework is awesome!!! It’s mad pretty!!! Love the heart shape firework and the pattern =)      Labels: concert |
